Outcome
Time To Play Fair was the public face of Spotify's 2019 antitrust complaint against Apple. The European Commission opened a formal investigation in 2020 and in March 2024 fined Apple €1.8bn for stopping music streaming services from telling users about cheaper options outside the App Store. Not many campaign sites get to point at a regulatory outcome. This one can.
The work
A campaign site built around a timeline of Apple's conduct, told through animation and character rather than legal language. I set the animation style, designed the characters and built the interactive timeline that carried the argument step by step.
